The day you take home your puppy is always a joyous one. Those little furballs are so incredibly cute, silly, and excited to be a part of your family.

They are also quite a bit of work. Dogs are amazing animals. But easy is one thing they are not, and as puppies, they can be especially tough. Puppies:

    • Need to use the bathroom often.
    • Don't know the difference between safe/not safe.
    • Struggle to understand "alone" time.

Those first few months with your puppy requires a lot of work, and if you're like most people, you are too busy to be with your puppy 24 hours a day, every day, until they adjust to life in the home.

Pet Sitting for Puppies with FurBabies Home Pet Care

We pet sit dogs of all ages. Senior dogs, for example often have significant needs that require a pet sitter often. Puppies are no different. In fact, the early stages of life are a great time for a local pet sitter.

We can help make sure your puppy is safe and cared for while you're away. We can:

    • Make sure they use the bathroom and clean up after their accidents. We can also replace pads or take them outside when they're potty training.
    • Shower them with love and affection so that they don't feel alone. Give them a chance to exercise and have fun and work out some of that puppy energy.
    • Check to make sure that they're safe, fed, and have everything they need until you come home.

Dog sitting is valuable for all dogs, as all dogs love the attention and care. But puppies, especially, benefit from regular check-ins throughout the day, especially if you are busy at work. Because we also know pet first aid and CPR, you can trust that your puppy is in good hands.

It doesn't have to be forever (although we hope it will be!). But a pet sitter for your puppy is a great choice. In Lake Mary, Longwood, and Sanford, FL, call FurBabies Home Pet Care today.
