Meet Your Sitters

Meet Your Sitters

Nikki was born and raised here in Central Florida, and lives just outside of Lake Mary in Longwood. Animals have been in her life for as long as she can remember. She has two dogs, four cats, and a leopard gecko. She gained experience with animals through several of her past jobs: working in a wild bird hospital, caretaker at a dog daycare/boarding facility, vet assistant and receptionist at another vet’s office, volunteering with a local animal rescue, and of course having many pets of her own throughout the years. Needless to say, her comfort level with animals is very high and she can’t wait to meet your fur babies, (or scaly babies or feathery babies), so she can show them love, earn their trust, and create a bond that will comfort them in your absence!

Melisa lives in beautiful Sanford. She’s been a veterinary technician since graduating in 2012 and pets are her passion. Working as a technician lets her use her skills and knowledge to put your mind at ease while you are away. She has two pets of her own, her dog Blondie and her cat Ravenclaw, both of whom are fun girls. Melisa recently moved here from Wisconsin; where she was also a pet sitter for over 10 years. She looks forward to taking care of your pets in the near future.

Donna and her husband live in Heathrow. She’s an empty nester after seeing her two boys off to college. Donna enjoys cooking for her husband and kids when they return home. In her spare time, she volunteers at the senior center and pet sits for friends in her neighborhood. She has a loving heart for animals. Donna is the servant to ‘Jack’, the home’s King cat!

Mary Ann has been an animal enthusiast since childhood. She currently cares for two ornery but loving kitties, Limerick and Jameson. Before them, she has played momma to several adopted babies in her adult life, all of whom left their little paw prints on her heart in their own special ways. She delights in being around animals and takes great pride in treating your baby like one of her own. Any day is a good day when she can spend it with your furbaby!

Meagan lives in the northern area of Lake Mary. She has three furbabies of her own: two dogs, Molly & Miley, and their feline brother, Kitty, who prefers more often to go by “Meow-Meow” 🙂. Meagan feels as though she was lucky to find FurBabies when they first moved into the area to become a client. Animals have always been a passion of hers, and to be able to surround herself with them daily is such a blessing. Meagan has been with FurBabies for several years now. She has recently embarked on a separate career, but remains part of the FurBabies family and continues to enjoy seeing your amazing pets.

Caitlin lives in Altamonte along with sister and big orange cat. She’s had animal friends since birth and has continued to seek out more ways to be around animals since. Besides caring for the stray cats in need of a home that have found her over the years, she volunteers weekly to help care for and train the pets at Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, and helps with animal care responsibilities at Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge. While in high school and college, she frequently looked after the pets of friends and neighbors away on weekend trips and summer vacations, and found that she greatly enjoyed her time as temporary mom to their furry family members, which let her to seek further pet sitting opportunities. Caitlin has a full time job at a local vet but she’s still visiting fur babies for us when she can.
