Many people think dog walkers are only for times when a family is away. When you’re at work or on an outing, it does make sense to want someone to stop by and help your dog get some much needed exercise and bathroom time.

But as the days become shorter, the weather cools, and the nights feel longer, professional dog walkers can help you give your dog a walk when you’re simply not feeling able to take care of your dog on your own.

Winter Dog Walks with FurBabies Home Pet Care

We’re blessed here in Florida. While some areas of the country have 30 degree weather and sundown at 4pm in the winter time, we still have decent warmth with lows that require only a light jacket, and light all the way until a little after 5:30.

But the average family is working until well after 5:30 these days, especially as you include commute. And after a long day at work, the last thing a lot of families want to do is go outside at night, in the dark, when it’s colder and may or may not be raining.

That’s where FurBabies Home Pet Care can come help.

We know how much you want to be there for your pet. We also know how important it is that your dog gets as much exercise as it can. So let us be there for you.

We are happy to provide dog walks day and night. While our mid-day walks are our most popular, we are more than happy to come to your home at night and give your dog some much needed time outdoors. We have dog walkers available in the following cities:

    • Lake Mary
    • Sanford
    • Longwood

All of our dog walkers are thoroughly vetted, with pet first aid and CPR training. We don’t mind a little rain, and we will always pick up after your pet – even in the dark.

Let Us Help You Care For Your Dog

It’s hard to care for a dog 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s okay to ask for a little help once in a while. During the dark, colder winter months when a walk is both less enjoyable and more difficult, let the FurBabies Home Pet Care dog walkers take care of your dog for you.

Give us a call today, or fill out our pet form with more details and we’ll gladly call back when we’re able. Dog walking is a great gift for your pet, and one that helps you as well.
